During what seemed to be rather banal holidays with parents, two 11-year-old protagonists of the book come across some mysterious traces… Going further into the topic, they discover an unusual story filled with gold from an organ pipe which got lost during the Second World War. Together with a young hang-glider pilot they decide to solve the riddle and find the hidden treasure, which is not an easy task. On the way, they come across many obstacles which seriously complicate their investigation or even bring it to the dead point. With time, the boys’ enthusiasm and their inquiring minds infect their parents, the pastor and his wife; thanks to that, all of them join forces to work for common good as a well-organized team. But this story is a funny game. The book puts young readers in the face of serious moral problems, showing that false accusations can be damaging to other people and how important it is to correct our own mistakes.
