One night, a poor old man, living in a small village in the Andes, is visited by the ghosts of the Inca city founders. They show him the way to the legendary Eldorado, a place, where innumerable treasures are hidden. The old man goes on a long and dangerous expedition to find the treasure.
However, he has to fulfill one condition: he cannot reveal the way to the Golden Palace where the treasure is buried to anyone. However, how to keep this secret only to himself if all inhabitants of the village suffer from poverty? The old man breaks the rule and shares the secret with other poor villagers….. and he loses everything. But does he really lose everything? This is a moving story about things which are more important than gold or precious stones.
The fable is based on exotic motives, and was written by a Polish actor living in the United States of America and illustrated by a young artist from Iran.
